I think this cassette was a promo that was sent to UK radio DJs and programmers, but it could also be an internally shared recording for the folks at Virgin Records.
As far as I’m aware, the NBP album was never commercially released on cassette. The recording was sourced from DAT, and is dated as November / December 1997.
24 years ago at the time of writing this blog! The album was officially released a couple of months later, in January 1998.
